Christmas Morning!

Seems like it's so easy to get caught up in the craziness of the holidays and the excitement of giving - we are so blessed to have these two little ones to teach the real meaning of Christmas - the birth of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. This Christmas Grandma & Grandpa spent a few days with us which made it even more special!

Birthday Cake for Jesus!

A tradition we started with Mackenzie when she was two - this year she was able to be more "hands on" - she loves adding sprinkles & loves licking the bowl!

She has glasses!!!

The day before Thanksgiving we saw a pediatric opthamologist and learned that Mackenzie is very far sighted. Her right eye began to cross which gave us our concerns, but all is well - she can now see like she never has before!

Snow in the Desert!

We awoke to snow thinking it would soon be gone - little did we know it would snow all day & all night! Jonas loved the snow and playing it. And Mackenzie, well, she liked looking out the window at it & can;t wait for it to be gone!

I'm 40 today....

how can this be? I still mentally feel about 25 but the fact that I have an 18 year old, a 3 year old and an almost 2 year old is completely insane! I do feel so blessed to have had a child so young, then meet a wonderful man who helped me raise him and then have two of our own.

People are telling me that 40 is the new 30...I'll take that!
