9 am and 90 degrees!

Yep! We've been spending lots of time indoors with the swamp cooler on finding lots of creative things to do indoors! I love the fact that I can , again, hang our wet laundry on the line - there's just something about things dried out in the fresh air!

Let's see - what have we been up to the past couple weeks? I seriously need to get back to blogging more often!

I was in The Spotted Box for June and will be again in July. For June, I placed a yummy sample of Sunkissed Citrus wax from Scentsy and for July I have actually sewn 60 of something really cute. You'll have to buy A Box or wait until after the 15th of July to find out what it is!!!

I attended a great homeschool seminar and am excited & full of purpose!!!

I have been doing a lot of sewing and recently completed 4 memory blankets (made with John's t-shirts and a bunch of beautiful Christian themed ties) for the Magnasco family which meant to much for me to do because of what that family means to me! Thank you Debbie, Dawn, Shelley & Michelle for giving me the gift to create these for you!

And the family still needs a lot of prayers! Michelle's husband, Ronald, was involved in a horrible truck accident, the truck caught fire, he is burned severely and is on life support - you can get updates HERE . I just can't even imagine. Please pray for the entire family - especially Ronald, Michelle & their boys.

We've also been reading a lot around here! Mackenzie just loves being read to - Jonas does too, his attention span is just a bit shorter. Mackenzie and I just finished reading Anne of Green Gables and are starting The Little Princess now. Jonas? Well, he's a lover of those books with the buttons that makes sounds - Thomas the Train is his fave!!! We've been driving all over to used book stores and library's on the hunt for great classic stories and it's so much fun finding old copies of books I grew up with!

Speaking of reading - my little princess is asking to read The Little Princess, so off I go!

Busy Bee!

Yep! That's me!

Let's see - my daily blogging has now slipped to once a week at the most - sorry about that - it's just, well, my life. It's been busy!

I'm working more & more - which seems to bring more & more cooties to this house! Just got back from the Woman's Retreat (down a Murrietta Hot Springs). Am taking a home-schooling seminar thru church. Yes, I know those are all not complete sentences. Ha! And you know, the Lord has just been really placing my priorities on my heart - my husband, my kids and my home. They have alwasy been my priorites, yet, my actions have not always shown that. It's June - wasn;t Christmas just last month? Time is flying by so fast & before I know it, my little ones will be all grown up. So - tonight and tomorrow I am going to work on a schedule for myself. I truly believe it's the only way I'll be able to function productively. I will make time on there twice a day to pop on the computer - blogging may become a every other day kind of thing, I don;t know yet. I just really want to get my house back in order and spend lots of quality time with my kiddos. I do spend quality time with them - I just want more of the quantity to be quality.

I also know I have pushed hubby to the back burner a bit which I know is easy to do with little ones around. He has never complained or even commented and I have not brought it up. I have already been making some pretty significant changes and will continue.

And my house - oh gosh - it is not what it used to be! And...I know it probably won't be again - not only because I have 2 little ones but also because it is not as important to me anymore. I used to do it for "image" reasons and worried about what others think - today, that's just not very important to me. I can do better though & I am going to.

So - as you can probably tell, I've had a bit of an awakening here lately and it feels really good.
